Spring Break-In-A-Box
Experiential Marketing Delivers on Timely Trend
With travel (and spring break specifically) looking different in 2021, a popular salty cracker brand took to Twitter to ask their consumers which spring break experience they’d like to see delivered to their front door.
Out of nearly 10,000 entries, a family from Pennsylvania was chosen and awarded with a Western-themed staycation they wouldn’t soon forget. The “Spring Break-In-A-Box” experience was delivered to their front yard and featured a mechanical bull ride, virtual DJ, games, a food counter fit for a saloon, and more.
Thanks to a connection made by Rick Schanz of Marketing Master Contractors, we worked alongside Weber Shandwick to facilitate the experience. With a concept and rendering from the salty cracker brand in hand, we got to work transforming one of our 26’ stage trailers into a site straight out of a spaghetti western.
We provided the PA sound systems, procured and/or produced general decor (including props, seating, tables, games, banners, and signage), rented the mechanical bull ride, contracted the DJ to perform a 30-minute virtual set, picked up catered food the day of the event, shipped the trailer and assets to Pennsylvania, and set up and broke down the activation on site. Prior to the event, our Creative Services team also printed and applied branded vinyl decals and wraps to the interior and exterior of the stage trailer, the mechanical bull ride, an inflatable hot tub, and gifts for the winners.
It is always a pleasure to work and collaborate alongside Marketing Master Contractors and Weber Shandwick and we loved watching the family enjoy their own personal “Spring Break-In-A-Box” experience.
This project just goes to show that whether you come to us with a drawing on a napkin or a seasoned idea, we can help you bring even your wildest experiential event to life.
