Meet JKS Incorporated’s Creative Services Senior Manager: Stann Harris

As we enter the fourth quarter of JKS Incorporated’s 40th year anniversary, we’re taking a moment to introduce you to our Creative Services Senior Manager, Stann Harris.

“Stann is what we like to refer to around here as ‘a lifer,’ and one of quite a few team members who have been with us for more than 10 years,” said Christy Cox Spencer, JKS Incorporated’s President. “Stann is the backbone to our Creative Services department.”

Stann has worked at JKS Incorporated since August 26th, 1997. Having gotten his start in our signage production department, Stann’s role has evolved to encompass client-facing responsibilities, which included taking on projects from concept and design all the way through to production. Over the past 27 years, Stann has honed his technical skills and developed a keen sense for project management and team leadership, all of which has led him to the position of Creative Services Senior Manager.

As Senior Manager, Stann offers guidance and support to everyone on the Creative Services team. With a wealth of experience under his belt, he’s become a go-to person for troubleshooting and finding creative solutions to complex problems. It’s easy to think of Stann as an anchor—the one ensuring that the team operates smoothly and that projects maintain the high standards JKS is known for.

When asked what a typical day for him looks like, Stann says there really is no such thing.

“Sometimes I don’t know what I’ll be doing until I dive into emails,” said Stann. “I do know that no two days are alike, and that’s the great thing about working here.”

Looking back on some of the highlights of his career, Stann says several standout projects come to mind.

“My favorite projects usually revolve around college sports—like the Allstate Sugar Bowl Fan Fest, which I was lead on for about 15 years,” said Stann. “I’ve also loved my involvement with the College World Series and College Gameday. As you can tell, I’m a real sports enthusiast.”

Whether it’s leading major sporting event projects or simply lending a hand to a colleague, Stann embodies what it means to be a leader.

He brings so much experience, wisdom, and a sense of balance to our hectic work schedules,” said Christy. “I am so grateful for his dedication and his professionalism. He lives up to his nickname around here—he’s ‘Stann the Man.’”
