Allow me to introduce you to our new CET Color Hybrid Series printer.
What Makes a CET Printing Press Special?
When it comes to large-format UV printers, no one does it better than CET Color.
Motivated by their mission to be leaders in innovation and provide their clients with the highest quality products in the industry, CET Color offers a wide range of flatbed, hybrid, roll-to-roll, and packaging UV printers.
While UV printers are unique for a number of reasons, the method in which their inks cure is perhaps the most notable. Unlike more traditional printers that require air time or heat for their inks to dry, UV printer inks are instantly cured by exposure to UV light. The curing of these inks by UV lamps (which are affixed directly on the printer) creates a strong mechanical bond that is extremely flexible and immediately usable.
As an added bonus, the inks are free of any volatile organic compounds (VOCs)—making them more environmentally friendly.
What Can We Print for You?
When it came to our specific needs, we knew that the 63” 250 Hybrid CET Color printer would make the best addition to our printing department.
On top of the benefits afforded by UV-drying inks, our new printer can print on virtually any substrate up to two inches thick. This means that instead of printing graphics on vinyl and then applying said vinyl to a particular substrate, we can now print directly onto rigid materials like:
- PVC
- Glass
- Acrylic
- Polycarbonate
- Chipboard
- Cardboard
- Styrene
- Painted aluminum
- Sign foam
- And more
The CET Color printer is also great for printing on materials that will be used outdoors. Graphics created using the CET Color printer are durable for up to two years (and as many as five when laminated). Typical jobs we recommend the CET Color printer for include window graphics, flexible plastic-based or rigid outdoor signage, display boards, site signage, and specialty prints on materials like glass and acrylic.
