Say Hello to the New & Improved JKSIncorporated.com!

After many months of hard work and collaboration, we are excited to announce the launch of two newly designed websites…. That’s right, TWO!

New Year, New JKSIncorporated.com

To put it nicely, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic threw us for a loop.

We downsized our workforce, modified our day-to-day business operations to meet new safety guidelines, and shifted a great deal of our attention away from facilitating events and toward the production of COVID-related products like sneeze guards, hand sanitizer stations, and social distancing signage.

In many ways, we’re a completely different business than we were 16 months agowe moved our offices back to Liberty St. in downtown Winston-Salem, streamlined our workflow, and gained new (and invaluable) insight. With all of the change that the inner workings of our business saw, we felt it was only fitting to switch things up online too.

“We have streamlined our staff and have focused on our core capabilities to be more efficient—all while keeping our stylistic approach,” said Christy Cox Spencer, president of JKS Incorporated. “I felt like our old site no longer represented the company we had become and I wanted something new that would resemble that streamlining but stay true to our unique aesthetic and personality.”

Thus, with the help of our friends at Reuben Rink, the next iteration of JKSIncorporated.com was born.

Let’s Take A Tour

While our primary goals with the new and improved JKSIncorporated.com were to make it easier to navigate and more user-friendly, we also wanted to draw emphasis to our core capabilities. With this in mind, we pared-down our homepage and gave our Displays + Graphics, Experiential Events, and Manufacturing Solutions pages the center stage.

Upon clicking on the “Learn More” button next to the Displays + Graphics and Experiential Events hexagons on our homepage, you’ll find comprehensive lists of the services and products we are capable of providing plus photo galleries that show off some of our most recent work (a picture is worth a thousand words after all).

We’re also continuing to add to our blog (thanks for being here!) and we’ve updated our “The JKS Experience” page with new case studies so you can get an in-depth look at what it’s like to work with us.

Introducing JKSMfgSolutions.com

So we’ve covered the first two of our three core capabilities (Displays + Graphics and Experiential Events), but what about Manufacturing Solutions? If you’ve done a little digging already, you’ve probably noticed that when you click on the “Learn More” button next to the Manufacturing Solutions hexagon that lives on our homepage, you’re taken to a totally different websiteJKSMfgSolutions.com

Now, even though our director of fabrication might tell you differently, we didn’t create a separate website for our manufacturing arm because it’s our favorite child…

“During the height of the pandemic, we decided to expand our existing fabrication division by purchasing a waterjet and a press brake,” said Christy. “These additions have increased our ability to provide creative solutions for our marketing and manufacturing clients. As such, we felt that a free-standing website focused entirely on those specific capabilities would help us gain visibility with new clients in the machining and fabrication industry.”

Right off the bat, we knew we wanted the JKS Manufacturing Solutions site to:

  1. Make an impression in the machining and fabrication industry
  2. Feel cohesive with our main site and brand identity

By combining the infrastructure the team at Reuben Rink created for our main site with SourceHorizon’s industry-specific expertise, we were able to make it all happen!

In addition to showcasing our waterjet, sheet metal, assembly, and secondary process capabilities, JKSMfgSolutions.com highlights our various certifications and ongoing commitment to quality.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

In addition to being grateful to the teams at Rueben Rink and SourceHorizon for their talent, know-how, and commitment to our vision, we must also thank Lauren Martinez Olinger of Red Cardinal Studio for the beautiful photos she took of our spaces and staff.

At the end of the day, we are beyond pleased with how our new websites turned out and excited to continue updating them with new photos, blogs, case studies, and company milestones.
