JKS Incorporated is delighted to be sent an invitation to participate in the 2018 Autosport International Show in Birmingham, UK in January.
Autosport International, a four day motorsports show held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK, will be celebrating its 28th anniversary of the event between the 11th and 14th of January, 2018 at the NEC in Birmingham. The show is composed of three separate events: The Racing Car Show, the Engineering Show, and the Performance Car Show.
Founder and CEO of JKS Incorporated, Will Spencer, and his longtime racing partner and friend, Ed Berrier, will be attending the four day event. Ed Berrier, who has been in motorsports his entire life, will be driving the #3 Dow Chevy SS, usually driven by Austin Dillon, one of the grandsons of NASCAR legend Richard Childress. Ed drove in various series of NASCAR for more than 20 years before becoming the lead fabricator at JKS Incorporated.
Ed’s #3 Dow Chevy SS was built, wrapped, and shipped from JKS Incorporated. Along with the #3, Will Spencer is also fielding a 1996 #18 Interstate Batteries Chevy Monte Carlo that will be driven by 2000 NASCAR Winston Cup Champion Bobby Labonte.
The cars fielded by Spencer, along with drivers Ed Berrier and Bobby Labonte, will be performing during a fifty-minute motorsport performance show where drivers will perform an “unrivalled variety of racing action, driving demonstrations, record-breaking stunts and celebrity appearances” in front of an audience of five thousand spectators. Ed, in his 2017 #3 Chevy, and Bobby, in his 1996 #18 Chevy, will be performing during the grand finale of the show.
Performances will be made by various divisions of the motorsports world, from karting right up to Formula One, inside the UK’s largest indoor race track, the Live Action Arena.
As they say: “Autosport International truly brings together the world of motorsport under one roof.”
